The vision
of New Life Ministries was redirected following an extensive community
survey by the membership in 1999, to seek out the greatest needs of the
community. In this survey we discovered the Top 6 community needs
which are as follows:
Today our vision is focused on the felt needs of our community.
The Vision is: "To build a ministry that will meet the needs of the
whole person, through a process of intellectual, physical, spiritual, and
social development, that together we might affect change within our church
community"
The vision is inspired of God, theologically sound, and perfect for our
time - meaning the vision is in line with the mind of God for such time
as this to bring life change to a hurting society.
"Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.." Luke 2:52 (NIV)
Our dream is to develop people as Jesus was developed. Jesus grew in four
ways:
1. He grew in wisdom, which represents Intellectual growth
or the development of the mind.
2. He grew in stature, which represents Physical growth or
the development of the body.
3. He grew in favor with God, which represents Spiritual growth
or the development of the soul.
4. He grew in favor with men, which represents Social growth
or the development of community.
These four pillars of growth will provide balance, health, and stability within our community.
To develop this kind of society it will take purpose, programs, people,
and property. The purpose, programs, and properties are in place. We are
believing God to connect us with the right people to make the right things
